The Multi-Purpose Hall was the School's sixth major building and was completed on 15 July 1986. The Architect was Butler and Sky, and the builder was Paynter Dixon Constructions. One small hiccup was that the floor was treated with an inappropriate surface material which was too slippery for safe Physical Education. Until it was replaced at end of year only assemblies, exams, and evening functions were held. In 1987 a kitchen was installed in a small store-room in the building.
In 1988 a fold-away stage was constructed as an attachment to the narrow stage in the MPH and in 1992 the school canteen was added to the building replacing the temporary canteen set up in 1990 under the Primary building. 1995 was the start of major alterations for the new PE department and in 2001 building works commenced on the expansion of the MPH. Extensive refurbishment to the building provided additional PE classrooms, store room and self-service canteen with outside eatery. In 2015 a fully equipped gym was built for students and staff. In 2017 the Canteen installed a walk-in cool room.
