JS2 was originally known as the Primary Building. It was the second school building and was constructed in 1984. The building is a split level brick/brick veneer, solid fill/suspended concrete. The School Council appointed Mr David Fitzsimons, B.E. MIE Aust. to oversee the building program on behalf of the Council and the Principal. Clifford Constructions were contracted to complete the project. Erected on the building is a plaque dedicated to the parents who support the School. In 2011 the building was refurbished for the PYP Learning Centre, and again in 2016 as the Junior School Centre for Innovation and Creativity.
