As a school community we have demonstrated an incredible resilience to deal with the changes at this time. One of our challenges is keeping busy outside of the Academic Distance Learning. Our Co-curricular Programs page contains an array of information to keep our students' minds and bodies busy.
The PDHPE Department has developed the 1000-point Challenge – click here to access the information.
Following on from this initiative all Hills Grammar students were sent a parcel in the mail from the Principal with their very own exercise equipment. All students K-2 received a school skipping rope with accompanying exercises and students in Years 3-12 received a resistance exercise band, with accompanying exercises.
Nutrition, along with physical activity and wellbeing contribute to overall health. In terms of good nutrition the PDHPE Department has created the following (click image below) as a guide to help students maintain a good balance.
As a School, we understand the importance of this balanced approach in our day to day lives and this becomes even more important in the unprecedented situation we currently face. So, from the
Co-curricular Program and the PDHPE/Sport Department, enjoy your time between Distance Learning sessions and continue to work on your skills, keep your physical activity levels up and stay healthy!
