There are many choirs and vocal groups for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Each group offers the opportunity for students to rehearse with their peers and perform at school events and assemblies.
Campanellas is for students in Kindergarten to Year 2 rehearses once per week before school. Students in Year 1 and 2 can join immediately while students in Kindergarten are invited to join from Term 2. Campanellas is the Italian word for ‘little bells’, which perfectly describes the sound of their rehearsals and performances.
All students in Year 3 and 4 are invited to join the Melodymakers choir. Students will have the opportunity to perform at the annual Music Showcase in Term 2 and Ensembles Evening in Term 4. New members are always welcome.
Songmakers is a choir for students in Years 5 and 6 that performs for special events such as Music Showcase and Presentation of Awards. The choir also performs at school assemblies and the Ensembles Concert in Term 4.
The Senior Choir is a four-part mixed choir for students in Years 6 to 12. The Choir performs at Music Showcase, as well as other major School events and assemblies. Members of this Choir are invited to attend the Senior Music Camp in Term 4.
The Vocal Ensemble is a choir for sopranos, trebles and altos that performs contemporary and popular music at a variety of school events. Solo opportunities are provided within the group for students wishing to extend their performance opportunities. Members of this choir are invited to attend the Senior Music Camp in Term 4.
