Volleyball Success

Congratulations to the Year 7 boys who have won gold in the U15s division in round 4 of the NSW Volleyball Schools Cup. The boys played superbly, defeating a strong Sydney Boys High team in a closely contested grand final match.

The team has now qualified for Nationals in Melbourne at the end of the year. Kynan Leong has also been selected for the U15s NSW rep team for the second year running. He will represent NSW at the Junior Nationals in Brisbane in September.

Except for Kynan, this is a team of boys who had not played volleyball before this year, a clear demonstration of the rewards reaped by commitment and determination.
