Hills Grammar offers four Sport Clubs for students of Hills Grammar and the wider community. Simply click on your preferred Sport to get all the details, there is also a contact email for any questions.

Hills Grammar Basketball Club – registrations open Term 3 for the Summer Competition which runs from Term 4 through to Term 1 of the following year.
Hills Grammar enters the Hills District Basketball Association Summer Basketball Competition and all games are played at the Hills Hornets Basketball Stadium at Fred Caterson Reserve Castle Hill. Training is held at Hills Grammar, Kenthurst.
Registrations are open to students from Hills Grammar as well as players from the local area.
Expressions of interest are now being taken for all students interested in playing basketball for the upcoming 2021/22 summer season.
Age groups start from U9’s for boys and girls and extend right through to U22’s for our senior students.
Competition is held at Fred Caterson Basketball Stadium at Castle Hill. Game days and times can vary from Monday to Friday nights and Saturday mornings.
All matches are in the afternoon and can extend into the evening for our older teams. Saturday games are mid-morning through to lunchtime.
To register your child please follow the instructions below. Please note that families will need to pay when registering to confirm their child’s place in a team.

- If you are paying for more than one student, please add a new line for each additional student.

Mini 9-12’s = $205
Juniors 13-18’s = $220
Seniors U/22’s = $235 - Under Select Payment Method, choose Credit Card and enter your card details. Please note a credit card surcharge applies.
- Please note that billing through a family account is not an option for this event.
Other Costs
- Annual Registration to be paid to Hills Basketball Association, please note if you are currently playing in the winter competition you will have already paid this. The costs are as follows:
Miniball (U9-U12) - $100 or $95 online
Junior (U13-U18) - $115 or $110 online
Senior (U22) - $130 or $125 online
- Uniform costs include school basketball shorts to be purchased from the Bob Stewart Uniform shop for $35.00. Please note if you have purchased these previously and the shorts still fit there is no need to purchase another pair.
- Training shirt to be purchased from the Bob Stewart Uniform shop. These shirts are to be worn to training and to matches with the playing singlet underneath. These shirts are generic for all sporting clubs and will be phased in for all clubs in the next 12 months. The cost of the shirt is $40.00
- The final amounts will vary for each family, however if paying the full amount, the cost over a 18 week season works out to be close to $20 per week. This amount includes the following:
- Match fee
- Coaching, training and match day
- Refereeing
- Playing singlet
- Indoor playing facilities
- Training facilities
- Presentation costs
Once the regular season starts, teams will be allocated training times, please note this may vary from after school, before school or some lunchtimes.

Hills Grammar Football Club – registrations open at the start of the year for the Winter Competition.
Hills Grammar Football Club plays in the local Hills Football Association and accepts registrations from students and the broader community.
The U6 - U7 age groups will train for one hour each week, with games involved during this session and no weekend competition. We will also be introducing multiple gala days throughout the season against other clubs to introduce a competitive element and match like experience.
The U8-U11 age groups will have one hour of training per week and a game on the weekend. Training will be run by KANO coaches, with a parent coach who will be involved in training and coach the weekend games. U9 and above play competitive football.
The U12+ age groups will have 90 minutes of training per week and a competitive game on the weekend. Training and game days will be run by the same coach throughout the entire season.
Field sizes are modified for U6 – U11 years, U12 years and above play on a full-size field. All games are played on a Saturday and training is held at Hills Grammar, Kenthurst.
Once registrations are received players will be placed in teams. If gradings are necessary they will be conducted for competition aged teams (12 and over) at a time to be advised.

Kano Football Training is run through the Hills Grammar Football Club for U8-U11 teams as an opportunity for additional professional coaching (covered in Hills Grammar Football Club registration costs).

Hills Grammar Netball Club is a member of the Baulkham Hills Netball Association (BHN) and all games are played at the Kellyville Netball Courts in Wellgate Avenue, Kellyville. Training will be held on the Hills Grammar Netball Courts.
Under 7, 8 and 9 years play a modified game called ‘NetSetGo’. This is a non-competitive version of netball played on a Friday night. Juniors (Under 10 – 14), Intermediate (under 15-19) years play competitive games of netball on a Saturday.

The netball season runs from end of April through to early September each year. Registration commences at the end of the year until the beginning of the season.
