Class of 2024 HSC Results

Please join us in congratulating the Class of 2024 for their outstanding HSC results, which included:

  • 8 Showcase nominations (Drama On Stage, Music Encore)
  • 94 Band 6 results
  • 38 Distinguished Achievers (51% of cohort)
  • Median ATAR of 83.3
  • 24 students with ATARs above 90 (32% of cohort)

Hills Grammar always looks at a wider set of measures than the “Top 100” when it comes to defining our success (Top 100 is based on the percentage of Band 6). It is therefore particularly pleasing to see Hills Grammar has once again placed in the Top 100 schools for the 8th time in the last 9 years, showing the consistency of our performance over time. Our rank this year was a very pleasing 69 (23% Band 6).

The Class of 2024 achieved 268 results in the Bands 5 and 6 range (80% and above), representing 65% of all HSC attempts. Further, more than 50% of the Class of 2024 completed at least one challenging extension course as part of their pattern of study. That is a sure sign of ambition and opportunity at Hills Grammar, and when combined with the high proportion of 80+ marks, makes a difference to ATAR for our students.
