Open Day

On Friday 28 March we welcomed over 120 families to Hills Grammar at our Annual Open Day, the sun shone, as did our students who act as hosts to visitors on this occasion. Our students spoke with pride and confidence about their school and, without exception our visitor’s comment on how impressed they have been with the students.

Open Day provides us with an opportunity to share and explicitly state who we are as a school as captured in the School Ethos statements which don the walls of all classrooms.

Hills Grammar is distinctive within the independent school sector, from foundation in 1982 to 2018, and into the future, we offer an alternate to many older and established independent schools.

Hills Grammar is a school at which students are inspired and prepared for the multiple pathways they will travel beyond our gates.

At Hills Grammar each student is an ‘original’, anchored by the common experience of attending the School, and each nurtured by teachers who awaken passions and inspire the pursuit of learning.

Our students are encouraged, and expected to ‘Strive for Excellence’ in all they do, and in so doing achieve more than they believed possible.
