This year’s theme of ‘’Bookaneer” saw the Pavilion decorated with wonderful colouring in from our Kindergarten to Year 6 students. Our ECEC students made some beautiful parrots with gogeous coloured feathers. Thank you to all the students for your very creative works of art that helped decorate the fair.
Murray Hawkins from Scholastics once again gave his very special book talks that had all the students enthusiastic about reading and itching to see all the books at the fair.
With every event there are always many people to thank because without their support, an event like this would not happen.
The book fair committee would like to thank the support shown by the staff in assisting the committee in putting on the Book Fair. Thank you to Robyn Evans, Cate Redman, Louise Green, Publications, Accounts, Campus Management and the Groundsmen.
Thank you also to Sue Watts, Sam Cordwell, Mark Yeowell, Melanie Mihno and all the Teachers for their support and assistance in running the fair.
A huge thank you must go to all the many Mums who gave up their valuable time to help out at the book fair, your time is very precious and we appreciate your support. We particularly thank all the parents and staff who helped out on Grandparents and Friends day, it was a very busy day and we would not have been able to do it without your help.
Thank you also to all the Parents, Grandparents, Friends, Teachers and Students for your support in making the Book Fair a success by purchasing books, posters and stationery items. We reached sales of $22,546.00 with a commission to the School of $6,200.15.
Hope to see everyone again next year at the book fair for another exciting year of new books to explore.
