Congratulations to Victor Zhang who participated in the schools challenge last weekend. It has been a long time since Hills Grammar has participated in a schools event. The school has a rich history of competing in these events having produced state and national representatives over the years. Our fencing program has started to rebuild in its popularity and under the instruction of fencing master Mr Andrew Szurdanzki our students are now becoming ready for competitions.
Victor Zhang has been in the program since Junior School and has now reached a level that allowed him to compete last weekend. Victor finished 35th out of 70 competitors and we look forward to seeing him improve on these results in future competitions.
