On Thursday 1 June the Junior School Dance Group competed in the Penrith Eisteddfod at the Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School in Emu Plains.

The K-2 “Superstars” and the Years 3-6 “Cheerleaders” groups have been learning their routines during their co-curricular class on Tuesdays at lunchtime with their teachers Miss Prue and Miss Brooke from Dance Pointe.

This was their first competition and we were all very excited about showcasing their fabulous routines.

Both groups produced amazing performances on the day with the K-2 “Superstars” picking up 2nd place!

The students did themselves and the School proud with their performances and conduct on the day.

Thank you to the parents who came to the venue to support the students, to the dance teachers and to Mrs Papallo who came with us on the day.

Well done dancers!
