Congratulations to the first ever Hills Grammar Badminton team that competed at the NSW Novice Championships on the weekend. The team consisted of one girls team and two boys teams. One of our boys team consisted of our international students; it was very pleasing to see these students connected with the School.

The experience of the competition was the main objective of the day, with one of our teams picking up some trophies it shows that there is talent to build on. To continue the momentum, the School is now looking to support Mr Ishida and bring in Development Officers from Badminton Active to refine the skills of all players. The next tournament is in October and we look forward to having more of our students representing the school. Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to the following students who participated on the day: Andy Liu, Alex Cao, Howard Zhao, Mr Ishida, Farhan Safi, Matthew Ren, Luke Kupka, Kean Zhao, Tommy Liu, Neha Vijay, Alexandra Stankova, Jessica Rowe and Shannon O'Neil.
