It is now the business end of the year for all Year 12 students who are finalising 13 years of schooling and are preparing to embark on a voyage of lifelong learning. This newsletter contains information on cadetships, apprenticeships and scholarship applications.

Hills Grammar will once again host its Tertiary Awareness Market for senior students in the Hills district. This year it is expected that over 500 students, from 6 local schools, will visit the event with over 45 Tertiary Institutions present to answer the student’s questions. The Hills Grammar School would like to thank all the schools and Tertiary providers who will visit the market and in turn help to make the event a success.

Paramedic Traineeships

Applicants who have no prior medical experience can apply for the Trainee Paramedic (vocational entry) role. Through the Trainee Paramedic vocational entry training pathway, you will undertake the nationally-accredited Diploma of Paramedical Science over three years, delivered by the NSW Ambulance Education Centre, Rozelle, Sydney.



Apprenticeship Engagement Forum Flyers

These flyers are suitable for both school-based apprenticeships or post-school apprenticeships. Each flyer sets out a possible career path for the student and then suggests the elective subjects that will make that career path possible. The subject lists cover choices in years 9 & 10 and 11 & 12.


AHG Apprenticeships (Motoring Group)

An apprenticeship with AHG is run over 4 years on a full-time basis. It gives you the opportunity to get the formal technical training and the hands-on experience you need to become a fully qualified Service Technician. You will gain recognised job skills and qualifications, all whilst being paid.

Each year, we offer a number of Dream Big scholarships to help young women.
